The Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro was established 38 years ago with a single objective: to create an oncology center of excellence in Piemonte, where research and treatment activities coexist, enabling patients to benefit from the best available human and technological resources. At the heart of all this is a unique model: the individual as the focal point. In fact, the Candiolo Cancer Institute – IRCCS was built by people for people.
The Foundation was set up to offer a significant contribution to the defeat of cancer through the creation of an oncology center in Piedmont.
